Other things we can make together
We're Ben and Nic. Between us, we make photographs, build tools, make art and bring people together. You can come to us with an idea that is still taking shape.
Stories, photography and film
We can work with you on writing, photography, a short film or a publication. We listen to the people involved and work out together what to make, who it is for and what they want to share.
Tools and practical systems
Maybe you need a website, a simple app or a better way to organise information. We start with where people get stuck, build something small and test it with the people who will use it.
Art and installations
We make installations and public artworks that people can take part in, from a phone connecting strangers to CONTAINED, a room that asks what confinement feels like. Bring us the question you want to explore.
Team workshops
Bring something your team is working on. We can shape a session around interviewing, choosing photographs, writing or trying out a tool. You leave with something you have made and a way to keep working on it.
We will talk about money and time early. Before paid work starts, we agree what we are making, what it costs and who will hold it afterwards. If you are still figuring out funding, you can tell us that too.
How it starts
It starts with a conversation.
Tell us a little about it
What are you hoping to do? Who is involved? A few lines are enough to start. If you know your timing or budget, include that too.
Work out a way forward
We will be honest about whether we can help. If it feels like a fit, we work out what to make, the cost and the time it needs, and put that in writing.
Make it together
There is room to try things and change our minds. We also make time for the files, instructions and learning you will need to carry it on.
Art is part of how we work.
