Connecting Communities: A Network for Justice Reinvestment
Our Vision
We're building a nationwide network to connect and amplify the efforts of 26 communities across Australia that are leading justice reinvestment initiatives. Our goal is to create a platform for sharing knowledge, stories, and solutions in youth justice reform.
What We're Doing
- Mapping Initiatives: We're creating a comprehensive map of justice reinvestment projects across Australia.
- Sharing Intelligence: By connecting communities, we're facilitating the exchange of ideas and best practices.
- Amplifying Stories: We're committed to showcasing the unique journeys of each community through various media formats.
- Empowering Local Solutions: We support community-led, culturally-rooted approaches to reducing youth crime and incarceration.
Our Approach
- Community-Centered: We recognize that local communities know their needs best.
- Culturally Informed: We value and prioritize Indigenous knowledge and practices.
- Story-Driven: We believe in the power of narratives to inspire change and connection.
- Collaborative: We're creating a network where communities can learn from and support each other.
